Boloy

Community Guidelines

Last updated: July 10, 2026

Boloy works because it's students helping students within their own circle — that only works if everyone shows up honestly. These are the ground rules.

Be who you say you are

Use your real name and a genuine photo of your own student ID when verifying. Fake profiles and borrowed identities get banned — no exceptions.

Be reliable

  • If you bid on a task, follow through. If something comes up, withdraw your bid or message the poster as early as possible.
  • If you're a poster, respond to bids and confirm completion promptly — don't leave a Runner waiting on their payment.
  • Repeated no-shows or unresponsiveness will affect your rating and can lead to suspension.

Treat each other with respect

No harassment, threats, discriminatory language, or inappropriate behavior toward anyone on the platform. This applies in task descriptions, messages, and in person.

Stay safe when meeting in person

  • Prefer public, well-lit places for handoffs when possible.
  • Confirm who you're meeting matches their verified profile.
  • Trust your instincts — if something feels off, you can cancel and report it.
  • For tasks involving money, let escrow do its job. Don't be pressured into paying or handing over cash outside the platform.

What gets you banned

  • Fraud or attempted fraud, including fake tasks or bids made in bad faith.
  • Harassment or abusive behavior toward another user.
  • Repeated no-shows after accepting a task.
  • Trying to defraud someone out of an escrowed payment.

Reporting

You can report a task or a user directly from their page. Our team reviews every report — see our Terms of Service for how enforcement works.
