Terms of Service

Boloy is built for university students. You must select your university and provide accurate information when signing up, and, where requested, submit a genuine photo of your student ID for verification. Accounts found to be fake, impersonating someone else, or not affiliated with a real university may be suspended.

Boloy is a platform that connects students who need small tasks done with students willing to do them, for a fee they agree on directly. We are not an employer, staffing agency, or party to the agreement between a task's poster and the Runner who accepts it.

We don't guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any task, and we don't supervise how tasks are carried out. Use your judgment, especially for tasks that involve meeting someone in person or handling money or goods.

• Task posts must be accurate and genuine — no fake tasks, spam, or bait listings.
• Bids are a commitment to do the task as described if accepted. Repeated no-shows after acceptance may lead to suspension.
• Once a bid is accepted, the task moves to Assigned. Either the poster or the Runner can walk away before that point at no cost, other than the effect on their rating.

• Your Boloy wallet holds real Taka — topping up ৳100 gives you ৳100 of balance, always a direct 1:1 amount.
• Whenever a bid is accepted, the full bid amount — plus any advance the task needs — is held from the poster's wallet in escrow.
• Escrow funds are released to the Runner when the poster marks the task complete, or refunded to the poster if the task is cancelled before completion.
• Wallet top-ups are credited after we confirm your bKash payment against the Transaction ID (TrxID) you submit. This is a manual or semi-automated match and may take some time.
• You can request a cash-out of your wallet balance to your own bKash number at any time, subject to a minimum amount — we review and send the payout manually.

• Creating fake accounts or impersonating another student.
• Posting fake tasks, or bidding without any intention of completing the task.
• Harassment, threats, or discriminatory behavior toward another user.
• Circumventing escrow for advance-required tasks in a way intended to defraud the other party.
• Attempting to access another user's account or the platform's systems without authorization.

We review reports filed through the platform and may warn, suspend, or ban accounts that violate these terms or our Community Guidelines. If you believe an action taken against your account was a mistake, contact support@boloy.app.

Boloy is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for disputes between users, losses arising from a task, or any indirect or consequential damages related to your use of the platform.

We may update these terms from time to time; continued use of Boloy after a change means you accept the update. These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh.
